The Trail:
It could not have been a more perfect day for a RISKY Hash. The sun was shining and a light breeze blew across the bay. Trail was slated for 3PM, but Mira and Tamir were running late, so Claire decided to hold up the pack for a bit before sending them out on trail.
At 3:16, the directions were given and off they went. Led by Gracie Basket and Hutch, the first check had them fooled. That let Mimi take the pack in the wrong direction, until Ezra brought them back on track again. Gable now, along with big bro Hutch crossed under a fence but stumbled as a bushwhack in the woods slowed them down. The pack, looked confused for a bit, as Livi streaked past the check hangers at the next intersection and they struggled to catch her. Wei Wei, Mimi and Livi were soon leading the pack along the twisting trail. As they neared a hilly sand pit, a local gang of off-roaders surprised the pack. Ralph got so excited he almost peed himself and Margo just looked away embarrassed for him. The entire pack was together again as they found the 'S'. Searching for the bag of goodies hidden behind some bushes, they started to gumble and moan, but soon Claire's daddy pulled it out and all was happy again.

At the Snack Check, it was as if they hadn't been fed in a month. Bags of orange food was ripped apart and juice containers stabbed with straws so quickly that the dogs just stood there with their tongues hanging to the ground. As the snacks and cold brews were enjoyed, a great number of songs were sung. Claire taught the pack a song about frogs, The twins M & T sang something about trains and wheels, Gracie did a hip-hop that had Beckett chompin' at the nip, while Ezra ran circles about the singing H3 choir. Timir tried climbing a tree, and was joined by Mimi, until Neila showed them how it's done without any adult help. All three proudly showed how the tree-bark scratches kid-skin. A rousing version of 'Singing in the Rain' had all but Neila on their feet. She should have gotten Hashit for technology on trail, but was forgiven as she was the oldest.

With snacks done, the pack started back to the cars parked by the ball fields. It was decided to circle up at Claire's house, so they hopped into the limos and rode back in caravan. More snacks and beverages were enjoyed as Clare's dad burned some hot dogs and burgers. Soon smiling faces were filled with everything they could push in. With bellies filled, the Circle gave the Hare a positive zero and all agreed to make this a monthly event. A game of soccer and baseball toss was played until the setting sun closed down the best RISKY Hash in years.
