Back to summary mode since I can’t seem to remember any details for more than a month or so. Trail was marked with extreme flour economy. It headed north from the parking area. There was some bushwhacking, but basically it led north then west along the Wenscott reservoir. There may have been a brief sojourn into the Angell Street neighborhood, but I couldn’t swear to it.

The Beer Check was found at the northwest extreme of the reservoir, about 1000 yds south of the West River entry into the pond. I do remember seeing a flashlight running along Rt 7. Shortly thereafter, late-cummer Flexi showed up. And then, another flashlight. This one entered the woods on the opposite side. The flashlight began a tentative crossing of the ice. To the disappointment of all, WIPOS did not fall in.

Beer finished, back to the cars they went, this time following the shore of the reservoir more closely. The run was rated. No marks, only about two checks, and no falling through the ice were balanced against fine bimbos and no Bondo. Total:+0.69. Hashit went to WIPOS for not breaking through the ice. Be a man and put on some weight, WIPOS! And finishing up, they moved on to The Lodge for the après.
