The old (now emptied) Social Ocean at WWII Veterans Park, Woonsucket was the start for what could have been a boring, pavement pounding trail in the hills of Rhode Island's most northern city. There was plenty of hard pavement, but Hairy Kirshner made a 4+mile trail seem like a day at the beach, even if this was Wombsucket.

WHO, WIPOS, Rusty, Satay Man and I watched as the exhausted Hare arrived from dropping off the beer. He said the trail was between 4 and 6.9 miles. And as the heavy rain yesterday would have washed away trail marks, he had to lay it all today. Soon, PG, Just Pat, Period Shit, Cracker Jackoff, Mr R, OOzing, O'Bone'r and Six x's Relaxed joined the fray.

At 6:30, the shitty trail marks were explained and the Hare pointed us off across the dry pond/now playground, then crossing Social Street. At the Burger King, we followed the trail through the Drive Thru, traversed the lot behind Chelo's and then crossed Clinton St at the Thundermist Health Center. From here we picked up flour along the burm, going upstream, along the wild and now swollen Blackstone River. We met a friendly Canadian Geese couple with 6 goslings, but they moved away from the noisy pack of wankers calling, "OnOn!"

We followed Truman Drive under the Court Street bridge and had an interesting tour over the gates of the condos on Allen St. At Bernon St, true trail went into River Island Park, then back to N. Main, crossing in front of the Thundermist Falls and making a right on East St and a then left on Olo brought us to a trough of the Cherry Brook. The Sneaky Hare layed little flour here, but suggested everyone cross the brook and struggle through briars on the other side, only to find an 'X' a short while later. I was with Saute behind the pack and watching the Hare not make a move in that direction, we decided to go straight through Costa Park, meeting a friendly skunk along the way to First Ave. We crossed the Fairmount Street Bridge and got snookered at a good check before continuing onto Very Street.

Mr. R, Just Pat and I continued on to Kindergarten to Blackstone Street, and looking back I saw no one behind us. It seems we were on the Eagle Trail. The pack took a side street to Blackstone and made a left on North Main. We could hear them calling so we continued and popped out on N. Main just before Lops Brewing. The pack was at the opposite end of N. Main heading towards us just as we noticed an arrow with Beer Here in chalk at our feet. As we went into the lot behind the building, Rusty popped out, beer in hand, and asked us where'd been?

The pack congealed at the bar and ordered a pint of our choice. then formed outside for a song or two on the patio. A Boston Harriet, Sex-Ray, who was late for trail, joined us at the Beer Stop. As we finished the pint, the barmaid invited us in to sing 'Allewette' before continuing back to the start for the Circle. The trail back was short and we were soon back at the cars.

The Circle formed in the lot and comments were mostly negative, as is expected from this bunch of unappreciative Wankers. Despite all his work in setting trail, providing the brew at Lops and putting up with the complaining low-lifes of the RIH3, he was given a negative zero. The Hare drank for his sins and sang something. Next, Backsliders were invited into the Circle and I interrogated Cracker on his poor choice of going to Antarctica rather than join Rhody on our weekly jaunts. Next Visitors were questioned by WHO before having them drink and sing. Then it was off to Chelo's for a pint of Captain's and a bite before heading home after a suckcessful Hash. Amen
