I picked up Bondo on my way to the 9/11 WIPOS Hash. Rain was falling as we started south toward 146, but we soon hit a traffic jam as we neared the junction with 146A/146, and it grew increasingly worse as we turned south on 295. The rain came down in buckets, reminiscent of tropical storms in S.E Asia, but made worse with the 'rush hour' traffic. We struggled to get over 10mph with stop and go traffic. The deluge continued all the way down 295 to 95 in Warwick, where the skies cleared and we resumed our travel to the start in Galilee.

Rusty was already in the lot. just up from the ferry dock, as we parked. We were soon joined by Concrete Feet and WHO. Bondo offered all a beer as Amish, PG, Cracker & Just Emma, Ass Quack, Just the Tip & Snow Burp, Little Bear and finally the Hare pulled in from his Camp Site at Fisherman's Memorial. Woozie and Sparks arrived last, and there was much rejoicing, with tails of time long gone by. At 6:31:15 sharp, we started out with instructions to go to the boat launch across the street for Whiskey. There overlooking the bay a soaking wet fishermen unloaded their boat, we toasted the return of Sparks and those gone too soon and Tinker & Short Shorts last stop in the US this weekend.

With whiskey finished, the trail quickly went south, as the Hare pointed us out to the tidal marsh. Bondo had already left and was calling us 'OnOn', as we circumnavigated the rising tide. Just south of the campgrounds, the trail went into some thick reeds, with a clear and deep trough on our left. Concrete Feet shouted out to stay right and I followed his advice. In front of me, Just Emma thought he said left and stepped in and quickly fell up to her tits, in the warm salt water. She must have enjoyed it, because as she took her next step, she did it again. I think she was just discreetly relieving herself, and if that works for you, let it go.

We continued on into the Fisherman's Memorial Campground, where WIPOS has previously had a Beer Stop at his camper/tent in the past, but chose not to invite us this time. We continued uphill to the second "W", but as I looked at the FRB's thinking they'd be enjoying yet another Whiskey from the Hare, I knew otherwise and started downhill.

Along with Sparks, we found the trail along the pavement of the campgrounds. FRB's soon joined us as we called, "OnOn!" The trail followed the park roads to a left, where grass and other debris was discarded, then left again on pavement towards the bay again.

The Hounds were already assembled around a beer bag as we arrived. PG handed me a Captain's Daughter, did I tell you she's my favorite Harriet? A number of songs were sung and Sparks pulled a few oldies out of his ass, including: "The Cuckoo" and "Ten Sticks of Dynamite". We sang "Lobsterman" and I had printed out another song he gave us many years ago, "Old King Cole". We got through some of the verses before darkness prompted our getting back on trail. Options for the return were: back from whence we came through shiggy, or follow the street. Sparks and I took the pavement and found ourselves back before PG, Concrete and Cracker, as they took the 'shortcut' on a Buttplug return.

As the circle commenced, the DFL's had yet to join us, rain started down in earnest again. The ratings were generous for a WIPOS Hash, from positive +6900 too many negatives from the more rational amongst us. With the entire pack assembled, and more complaints were given, an average of negative zero was announced by WHO. Before we could make the Hare do his Down Down and contrary to our normal routine, Sparks decided to re-rate the trail and offer a song for the Wankers. Next backsliders: Sparks, Concrete, Just the Tip, Snow Burp and Little Bear were interrogated and suffered a DownDown. Sparks and Little Bear sang a Norwegian song. We didn't know the lyrics, but I got the melody and mouthed some grunting noises. Hashit was next, and Rusty tried to pass it on to: Just Emma's squatting piss and others, pushed for Bondo because he short-cut the Beer stop. Others were offered by the pack, but since the choice of Bondo was so strong, and Sparks wanted me to join him and sit on ice (there was none), we shared the award. I sat bare assed on WIPOS' cooler and Bondo on the boat bumper that I'd picked up on trail. We drank and sang, before heading off to Pancho O'Malley's for a bite and beer and then heading home. It was great seeing Sparks and I hope he (and we) stay healthy to have another meeting in the near future.
