Visitors: The Long One (Key West H3?), Just Todd (NH3?).

The Run:

Beginning at the Golf Course, trail led south on Conanicus Rd, then turning east towards the water, and back north under the highway and then in a field parallel back to the on-ramp north of the Country Club. Trail entered the Marsh Meadows Preserve and meandered around some Eagle Scout trails to a check at the end of a raised walkway which had Oozing and WHO thrashing about in some phragmites and salt-marsh in the vain hope that the hare would actually have set a decent trail. But Basket and the rest knew that the hare could not risk rusting his artificial joints, and set back, finding trail branching back south to the golf course. Two holes later (Bondo kept getting bogeys, until WIPOS lent him a hanky) they emerged into the main village, where they zigzagged about. Trail led into a playground where flour took the more enterprising hashers such as Just Todd, SESYB and WHO on a tour of the equipment, until WHO went down the spiral slide, taking all the evidence of trail (a large dollop of moistened flour) away with him on his posterior. They rejoined the rest through progressively nicer neighborhoods eastward to Alden Ave and Shoreby Hill, where the beercheck was held from the trunk of the hare's car with remarkably little ambience but substantial singing. Trail back led north on Conanicus to the Country Club. Circling was in the back in plain view of the staff dinner, near the greenskeeper's truck.

Ratings: 0.69 for lack of shiggy/excessive pavement.
